Start date: June 20, 2021
The Royal Windsor Triathlon is now a part of the Olympic Games, which is held in London. It is a grand event with many celebrities involved such as Sir Bradley enabling the event to be won by Britain. The Royal Windsor Triathlon was first held in 1983 and is a non profit organization. The organizers have kept the costs of the event down to a reasonable level and allow people from all walks of life to take part in this unique triathlon.
The location for the event is in Windsor, Berkshire. The town has a very rich history and is well known for being one of the principal towns in England when it comes to long walks. The people of Windsor and the surrounding area have always longed for a long walk and have always enjoyed seeing the tourists and people from London. As the organizers of the Royal Windsor Triathlon remember, “The people of Windsor and the surrounding areas have long wished for a steady and safe long walk to London. Well the present situation is a happy result of our Triathlon with the support of all our fans and volunteers.”
When you visit the site of the Royal Windsor Triathlon, you will see a beautiful large track which has been built for the event with huge spectators seating areas on both sides and in the middle. You will also see that there are many other large fields which were used during the Olympics. This long walk course will be completely flat so that there is no need for the participants to carry their equipment through bumpy and uneven ground. This course is about two and a half miles long and is set in the grounds at the famous Windsor castle.
The location is perfect for a family day out and shows the commitment the people of Windsor show in hosting sporting events of this nature.
